Shazad Mohamed is President and CEO of GlobalTek Solutions Inc., an innovative software company that provides solutions to the healthcare, government, and legal industries. GlobalTek Solutions currently has 22 employees and projects strong growth over the next several years

Shazad started his business when he was 12 years old, and currently at age 17 is one of the youngest CEO’s in the technology industry.

Recently Shazad was awarded the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” award, for the year 2003 by the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce. In May of this year, Shazad was publicly recognized during the CRN convention held in New Orleans, by the top technology industry leaders of the country, as the youngest successful entrepreneur in the nation.

Shazad is a recipient of the Pakistan Society’s award for outstanding achievement for his work in the fields of technology and business, and has been recognized for his leadership and management skills by organizations like The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE). 

Shazad has also participated in executive level meetings with leaders from organizations such as Microsoft on business strategy and technology developments. He has been recognized in the national media by organizations such as CNN, USA Today, Entrepreneur Magazine, and the Dallas Morning News as one of the most successful young entrepreneurs in the nation.

Shazad is frequently profiled in the national media for his ideas on management, organization, strategy, and technology leadership. GlobalTek Solutions growth and progress during the economic downturn is frequently citied as well.

Shazad has made straight A’s since he started his schooling at the elementary level and has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout his schooling. He has been recognized as among the “Who’s Who” of High School students in the United States for academic and business achievement.

Shazad has won numerous academic awards including the President's Award for Educational Excellence for Outstanding Academic Achievement, for two consecutive years from the President of the United States, as well as the "National I-STAR Award". He has made a perfect score on the TAAS.  Despite of his business and academic achievements, he is extremely humble and has extraordinary humility.
